Tea Party

Every time Nana gets a chance- like three or four times a week lately- she has afternoon tea and snacks with Graham and Paige. They use lovely demi-tasse cups of fine bone china, most of which belonged to Great Aunt Sudie.
The kids love the attention and we captured it today.

If you want more, here's a vid......

Actually all the tea cups are from Grand Sudie's collection that I have inherited. Also, part of the "tea ceremony" that we have is a lighted candle and Graham's snack of choice always includes cashew nuts while Paige has Parmesan cheese.

Another interesting addition today was that Graham took a sticker off his banana and stuck it on my shirt since I am Nana/Banana! If you look closely you will see it on my print shirt.

Gotta love this kids!

I have written this reply to you once,Bev. I told you that I miss nothing on the pics or videos hahaha I eat them up!! I also said that I miss my Family (what's left of 'em) and these pics etc are just the thing..x

Norma.x what is that brown thingy in front of Graham?

Norma,
The brown thingy is a new plastic tea pot that brews the tea very nicely and then it dispenses the tea from the bottom, directly into your cup by a little lever. Pretty cleaver really. It was a Christmas present from the Walkers.
Glad you enjoy all the pictures and videos. It does make us feel closer, doesn't it?

Thanks,Bev,,,and now I see the white Teapot with the 'keep warm' cover..is it one that I gave to you? I remember Mum gave us one when we got married 55 years ago..I do hope it is the same one!

Norma.x I love your little Tea party. :)

Not the same one - I found it in an antique shop in England a few years ago. Had to have it because it is called a Beverley Teapot! :)

Love the tea cheers pic. Paige looks particularly lovely in it.

It goes without saying that this is their favorite way to unwind after a long 3 hours at preschool.

Hmmm we don't see them in the shops now,Bev, I bet they are worth something now :) but you wouldn't want to sell if it has your name on it,huh? hahaha
